TURKISH DEVOTIONAL MUSIC, POETRY AND PICTURES

Latif Bolat and his Ensemble perform the mystical hymns, chants and rhythms
of the Mevlevi, Bektashi and other dervish ordersí music and poetry in the
flourishing tradition of the great 13th century mystical poets, Rumi and
Yunus Emre.

Jennifer Ferraro will present devotional dances from Turkey.

Appearing in Colorado with guest musicians Ty Burhoe, James Hoskins and
Jesse Manno.

Meg York is back on clarinet, Jesse Manno on flutes and lutes, Cameron Powers on lutes, James Hoskins on Cello and saz, and Zahara on percussion. Come and dance to Greek, Turkish and Arabic music on a terrific huge wood dance floor in a smoke and alcohol free setting! Produced by Fort Collins' new World Music and Dance Center.
